The Act Of Professed Christians

A lot of Christians let their light shine one day a week in church, and live like the devil six days a week.  When a football game can keep a Christian out of church, you have to look at the walk and see if you can show love and compassion and yet show them the Word of God.  Sometimes this is not easy as they dont want to hear it.  Why?  Why would a true Christian not want to hear the Word of God?  Because it is sharper than any two edged sword.  When nothing or nobody can cut you to the quick the Bible can.

Now dont get me wrong, sitting on a church pew everytime the doors are open DOES NOT get you to Heaven.  You have to go through the blood of Jesus Christ.  No one will enter the gates of Heaven without the Blood Jesus covering their sins.

Some times when you want to give up, and think that what is the use of praying for Sister Jones, or Brother Jones remember that someone PRAYED FOR YOU!!!!

12-30-12 Sunday Evening Service

  This evening Pastor Brandon Teague preached about the effect of sin in our lives. 
  He gave it to us straight from the KJV Bible.  He told us about the loss of joy, the loss of fellowship with Jesus, and most of all how God wont hear our prayer as long as we have not confessed our sin to Him and asked for forgiveness with Jesus' blood.
  Come hear the preaching from the pulpit of Faith Baptist Church and find out that when we are God's children He will chasten us.  That being said.  When preachers wont against sin, and all they teach/preach is the "properity" gospel, they are not giving you the whole truth.  Only they are keeping you feeling good about yourself and not about your relationship with Jesus Christ and God the Father, and God the Holy Spirit.
